Welcome! Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale is a growing theatrical production, which focuses on preserving the rich culture and history of Harlem through the arts. It is written by Jaylene Clark, Hollis Heath, Janelle Heatley, and Chyann Sapp, who make up Harlem KW Project, LLC. Directed by Jaylene Clark. It is a look into the multifaceted issue of gentrification in Harlem through a fusion of spoken word poetry, music, and theatre. It is approximately one hour and 15 minutes. **Jaylene won third place at the Apollo Theater Amateur Night: Top Dog Competition on 05/16/12!! Congrats! We will need all of your support on, Wednesday, October 31, 7:30PM, as she competes in the Super Top Dog FINALS where she will compete for $10,000!!
